How to send your Medical Records

Posted under: Medical Records, X-Rays— George Cierny @ 11:00 am

Medical records: The simplest way to send your pertinent medical records is to ask your physician to do it for you:  fax ( 858/ 300-0484 ).  To avoid unnecessary work, please send me a summary of your case in the box provided on our home page(the bottom, left corner) under ”E-Mail Us”.   I will then get back to you with a few questions before we  get underway.

X-rays:  If you have x-rays,  you can simply photograph them using your digital camera: if available, use the ‘Macro’ lens setting and be sure the photos are not out of focus; you can find a view box at any hospital, radiology suite or orthopaedic surgery office.   Send them to me over the Internet as jpeg files.   To get access to my secure e-mail address,  first send me a summary of your case in the ’submit box’ provided on our home page (bottom, right corner) under ”E-Mail Us“.   Simpler yet, ask your orthopaedic surgeon or the hospital’s radiology department to copy your studies onto a CD and send them to our Frost Street address in San Diego.
